Not much to update...

It's been a rather non eventful month.

I'm working back at Tom and Jerry's at night. This is job #2. So, I'm up at 4 a.m. ride into work by about 5 a.m. and then work the day, leave there, ride home, change clothes, drive into Tom and Jerry's and work until usually 9 p.m. but sometimes I close which is 10 p.m. You can see how this could lead to a very non exciting series of events to blog about. So I have attempted to spare you, my friends, from being bored out of your gord by what I write.

A few highlights of the past month. Since getting my Trek fixed I still haven't managed to log more than a couple hundred miles (part of the cause and effect of having 2 jobs).

Gaven on the other hand has had lots of time on his bike, so much time in fact that he became bored with the normal, sitting your butt on the seat and pedaling that he decided it was time for some tricks....if you don't know what I'm talking about take a look at the movie RAD (great flick...should see it if you haven't and just excuse all the cheezy 80's stuff)...Well, to make a really long story short - he decided to do some tricks, fell on his face and knocked half of his front PERMANENT tooth out. He goes to the dentist soon for them to apparently use some type of composite material to make his tooth look right again.

For my girlfriends who read this I know you are thinking..."Oh my gosh...I hope he isn't doing bike tricks anymore" but he is...because we have always told them to jump back on the horse after getting knocked off. So, there may be more trips to the dentist in my future for repairs on broken teeth.

Other than that there isn't really anything new. The Beanzie ride is this weekend and I highly doubt that I will be able to do it since we are packing things up and moving....yes I know this is fairly soon (about 5 months since the last move) but we found a larger home with a fenced in backyard, for less than this almost brand new condo we are renting. It's closer to all the kids schools as well, and it increases my bike commute by about 4 miles each way - which is important since I can't seem to get enough riding time in as it is, so every extra mile will help!

In other news, my favorite celebrity, Lance Armstrong is doing great in the Tour de France this year. I find myself sitting at work and checking out news stories about him since I never seem to manage to catch the tour on T.V.

Okay, that's it folks...I've got to get some work done before someone kicks my butt!

Safe and Happy Riding!
