I went Christmas Shopping with the kids tonight...and do you know what I realized...besides the fact that my kids joy at being able to buy their own Christmas presents for everyone is probably the best thing about Christmas for me this year...I realized that I miss hearing Christmas music blaring over the loud speakers in the stores.
I miss hearing Silent Night and all the other old Christmas songs that always held a special magic to me when I was a kid, a promise of something special.
Maybe if I didn't consider myself a Christian I wouldn't want to hear them...but I do...so I do. :)
Another thing I noticed tonight...people seem so frazzled...it's sad!
