For any of you who watch the news you have probably heard about the shooting on the NIU campus. This shooting took place only a few blocks from my house.
Everyone was panic stricken and everything was chaotic.
People weren't sure if the gunman was in custody or not, people were scared out of their minds.
The school buses were put on hold until the scene was secured.
It was a very scary thing. As the night has gone on, we are hearing more and more details and the number of people shot and dead has risen even in this past hour.
At this point there are 6 people dead - including the gunman. They have not released names, but please say a prayer tonight, or keep them in your thoughts as well as the families of these people.
It's such a sad thing, people die everyday, but senseless death is always difficult to deal with.
