Following his surgery we were all set to leave...then he began having pain in his chest. After the nurse checked him out and called the doctor they ordered another chest x-ray which showed air leaking into the chest cavity and compromising the lung.
He has now been admitted for an overnight stay. Hopefully after a chest x-ray in the morning it will have resolved. Unsure at this point what will happen next.
He's just been given another dose of pain medication so he's resting peacefully at the moment.
